The New Soft Room was a semi-permanent re-imagining of a casual breakout/events space from the 1960’s at the AA.

The brief was to accommodate around 60 people in an environment that could be adapted to suit a variety of lectures, concerts, symposiums and presentations. A modular, reconfigurable approach was digitally fabricated with the resulting events space running for 8 years beyond its originally intended 12 month life span.
